Well guys... it's been another year of amazing projects! As always, we've been super impressed by the quality and creativity of the furniture you've made with our hairpin legs.
Though we'd love to share all your work, here's a short selection of our favourite projects this year. There's plenty here to inspire more DIY, upcycling and revamping for 2020!
With bold geometric designs and amazing decoupage, Emma from @designretrobrighton has been racking up Instagram likes this year. Her commission builds include this stunning Frieda Kahlo G-plan unit, also built with our hairpin legs. To see a full portfolio of Emma's midcentury refurbs, visit her website.
Earlier this year, we got very excited about river tables! One of our favourites has to be this smoky oak table, made with GlassCast resin and our satin black hairpin legs. If you'd like to have a go at making your own river table, try this guide.
It's been another productive year for Tom from @woodandbroomedesign, with an exciting selection of geometric tabletops and reclaimed wood furniture. For more of Tom's standout Bristol-based woodwork, check out his Etsy shop.
This bright idea is from Painted Karma – a design duo from South Kingstown who dare to be different! They created this unique table with a gorgeous piece of live-edge walnut, lit with built-in Edison touch lamps. The lamps are operated by a copper bow-tie inlay, matched with our copper hairpin legs.
No round-up would be complete without a retro refinish from @ElizabethDotDesign. Her modern, playful approach to midcentury furniture never fails to inspire and make us smile. The millennial pink triangles go so well with our copper pins – love it!
Where better to beautify yourself than your own beautiful dressing table? Sarah's DIY reclaimed wood table with copper highlights fits perfectly in her jungalow style bedroom. Extra points for the matching mirror and wastepaper bin!
We've been delighted with the incredible dining tables you guys have been sharing this year. Bryony made this beauty with reclaimed scaffold boards and our wide A-frame industrial legs. Proof that simple materials often make the best tables! If you're keen to make your own dining table, here's an easy guide.
Here's how you brighten up a hallway! This totally customised console table is made with an ebony top, Valspar drawer and our tall black hairpin legs. To see more of Julie and Mark's unique handmade creations, take a look at their Etsy shop.
Here's one suitcase that's staying put! Cleverly upcycled with a set of copper hairpins for a standout, sustainable table. Perfect for storage too. Lovely work, Dave!
Earlier this year, we gifted a set of our new brass hairpin legs to Steph from @homenumbertwenty. When we saw her clever radiator cover creation, we instantly loved it! The shiny brass goes so well with the patterned tiles, particularly when lit up by the sun. Take a look at her 'Console Table' Instagram Story for a step-by-step guide on how to make your own.
