As a rough guide, the standard legs at 58cm are suitable for up to 120cm table width. With the wide legs you can increase this up to 150cm. However, as always there is some leaway in this and you may also prefer a slightly different look. For example, a lot of people with the square design like to match the table width to the leg width.
With our box section legs, we do not really provide you with a guide weight!
This is for the simple reason that they are extremely strong and if we told you they could easily hold 500kg+ then this would be irresponsible.
Please note: your project is only as strong as the weakest point. If you need any further help on this point, you are more than welcome to contact us direct.
In summary; for the vast majority of projects you will not have any strength issue with these legs!
Sorry – we make and finish our legs in sets of two. Delivering them in different quantities creates a lot of odd legs around the workshop, which is a bit of a nightmare!

All our legs come with free wood screws. They’re suitable for good- condition solid wood, thicker than 18mm .
If your wood is a bit rotten (old scaffold boards, for example), try to use the longest screws possible.
If the wood is really rotten, we suggest putting a nut and bolt the whole way through, to ensure safety. Or find another piece of wood!
For thinner tops (down to around 10mm), we suggest using threaded wood inserts.
