Walnut Live Edge Dining Table

Each piece of live edge wood has unique features and character. The photos provided are of top no. 21.

The general tone and grain structure will remain similar between each top, but the shape and size will vary, along with any unique patterns, knots, and other features. These can all be seen better in the close-up images that are provided.

Assembly Guide

This table requires basic assembly of the legs and fitting of the top. It is a simple process taking no more than 10 minutes. We can provide help on request.

• Cross-head screwdriver
• Drill with a 1 - 3mm drill bit for making small pilot holes(optional but recommended)
• Two strong people
• Ten minutes of your time!

Two strong people

These live edge tops weigh between 50 - 80kg and are bulky, so they require two strong people to lift the tabletop. Our driver will assist you in moving it to a position in your home but can only help with assembly if pre-arranged.

Leg Base Assembly

The table legs will arrive in two boxes. Assembly of the base is simply a case of fitting the horizontal support bars to the legs with the bolts provided. Start at one end, use the bolts and tools provided, and then move on to the other. Make sure all bolts are nice and tight. You now have a free-standing base. 

Top positioning

Live edge tables are inherently irregular, so the positioning of the top can be influenced by your seating arrangement and personal preference. Start by lifting the tabletop onto the frame in the centre, then position your chairs in your desired seating configuration. Ensure leg spacing for each chair is as you would like and that the overhand on each end of the table is symmetrical.

Secure the top

The table base is structurally sound in its own right, and technically, the tabletop does not need any additional fixing. However, we do suggest fitting at least four screws (1 per corner) to prevent the top from sliding around. With the top in position, fit a screw in each corner, using a small pilot hole to aid the process. The pilot hole should be 1 - 3mm wide and around 10 - 15mm deep.
